Pennsylvania Act 2

The Land Recycling Program, commonly referred to as Act 2, encourages the voluntary cleanup and reuse of contaminated sites in Pennsylvania. The program is nationally recognized as the leader in encouraging the voluntary cleanup of contaminated sites offering responsible parties liability relief.

Skelly and Loy has closed out and obtained releases of liability for hundreds of sites under PA DEP's Land Recycling Program (Act 2). These sites have included evaluating and obtaining closures for releases from storage tanks, solvents, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), hazardous materials, and heavy metals. We are intimately familiar with performing environmental investigations in Pennsylvania to assess the concentrations of contaminants in soils, soil gas, sediments, groundwater, and surface water.
